On Thursday evening we booked for 6:30pm and were served our starters at 7:10pm and our main course at 7:40pm. If each meal were being cooked individually and from basic ingredients this would be acceptable. There were few occupied tables when we arrived, although the restaurant did fill up later in the evening. The food itself was very enjoyable but we had not expected it to come plated, as it might have been, had it been part of a feast night meal. We like to share our dishes so it was awkward to take food from each other’s plates. We needed to order extra rice as each curry came served on a plate with a small pot of rice. The take away delivery service appeared busy so presumably those meals have to be prepared alongside restaurant orders, hence the long wait. We would have preferred our main dishes, chosen from the à la carte menu, to have been served in separate dishes, so we could share our dining experience. Also when the order is taken, we could be asked if we wish to wait in between courses, in our case we waited 30 minutes, but not from choice.

Food is always good quality however the delivery service is lett... read more Don't expect your delivery on time if after 7pm on Saturdays. I have used K2 for several years. Food is always good quality however the delivery service is letting it down. It is a pleasant surprise now if a) the delivery arrives less than 30 mins late b) all the items ordered are there. I had to chase a refund this week as it wasn't processed as promised. Also no offer of a bit of compensation for no naan by way of a voucher etc. Collection probably better advice if you want it on time.

We had the set meal for two chicken tikka starter dry, the chicke... read more We have been to the K2 on many occasions, our last visit will be our last. The Food was bland. We had the set meal for two chicken tikka starter dry, the chicken was hard in both Curry's and had a taste to it I cannot describe. Waiting staff did not know how to handle situation. Ended up with me paying a bill for food that was not eaten and going home hungry! I contacted the restaurant later that night to advise the owner/ manager that the service and handling of complaint were not up to usual expectations but as yet have received no reply. The restaurant has definitely gone down hill and we will not be returning.
