I keep coming back because my boyfriend and I really enjoy Louise's homemade, delicious food at competitive prices. Louise and Zoe are always welcoming and friendly, and their café is always clean. In addition to a great selection of breakfasts, light lunches, sandwiches, and baps, they offer scrumptious homemade cakes. I particularly love Louise's quiches, shepherd's pie, chilli, and her own version of ratatouille, which taste so much better when made from scratch rather than from convenience foods. Thank you, Louise and Zoe, for providing such a lovely café to visit in Polegate. -Val Knott

The food is delicious for both breakfast and lunch. The only drawback is that they close at 3pm.

I had a chicken and mushroom slice, warmed up so nice and crisp pastry. Hubby had a coronation chicken sandwich which was obviously freshly homemade and a very generous sandwich indeed. I'd highly recommend a visit!
