Great staff and good sweets! If I could give 4.5 stars instead of 4 I would. My only complaint is that the little shop area upstairs is cute but not really kid friendly. Lots of vulgar words and suggestive sayings. Funny stuff , but awkward when you want to stop in with kids for a treat.
My husband and I enjoyed the wonderful pastries and a cup of coffee on a chilly afternoon in April. We also enjoyed perusing the store and bought a sign for my husband’s classroom. We highly recommend checking out the bakery and store. Enjoy! ?
First the Cinnamon Rolls were my favorite but now it's summer and their Lemon Squares are where it's at! It was very smooth and light in texture but heavy enough to satisfy. Always a lovely Sunday at WildFlour!
I have never written a bad review on Yelp or any other site but I just could not turn my cheek the other way and chalk it up to experience. Husband and I on vacation and camping with our 5th wheel and was shopping in Waynesville and came across Wildflour Blue Bakery. We went in to check out the goodies and look around. Apple Fritters are one of our favorite pastry's so we purchased 2 of them to go. We had a early dinner and drove back to RV Park. Decided to make tea and eat our pastries. Well it infuriated me to discover those fritters had to be 2-3 days old and they were so darn stale and frosting crystallized we pitched them, along with the $6.00 that they cost!!! We should of went to Engel's and purchased 2 of their huge, delicious muffins for $3.00! Shame on you for selling days old pastry's, I won't be returning!
