Red Lobster - Wayne

The service was very good but the food was too greasy and didn't agree with my digestive system. Portion size were very disappointing. I ordered Fried Sea Scallops and Walt's Fried Shrimp. The Scallops were the size of marbles and full of grease with every bite. The Shrimp was heavily breaded small frozen shrimps fried in old grease. I attempted to est one shrimp but the taste of the old grease upset my stomach. My waitress was very accommodating by getting me a different shrimp. But it was disappointing as well. The Cheddar Biscuits were very small and very greasy as well.

I came to this location a couple times after COVID and I noticed the quality went down and the food didn’t taste fresh at all. I decided to give it another chance and order take out. Big mistake. I ordered a combination plate with broiled scallops and coconut shrimp. For my sides I ordered mash potatoes and linguini. The only thing that was edible was the shrimp and potatoes. The scallops were tiny seared mini scallops the size of mini marshmallows in a cup of soup. And when I opened it it smelled BAD and looked gross. Didn’t even eat it and threw it out. The linguini was boiled plain pasta. Literally nothing on it just boiled pasta.

We were seated quickly but server took forever to come to us and take order. We were already filled with the bread and ordered only one big dish. She made face when I said for sharing. Then, it was almost 25-30 min before we got it… She never checked on us and never asked if we were ready to check out or needed something else. We communicated needs with other staff members.

We had lunch here today! It was wonderful! We loved the cheddar bay biscuits and our grilled shrimp skewers! We had the lemon cake for dessert! Yummy! Our waiter, Kevin was OUTSTANDING! He treated us like a million bucks! We’ll go back soon! We hope Miss Kay comes back as the hostess with the mostest!

Waiter was nice. Food took forever. Red lobster has changed. It used to be so good. The biscuits were under buttered, so I asked for butter on the side. The side of butter tasted and smelt like it came from a dirty metal pot. I didn’t use the rest. I got the fish and chips as an entree and I got one piece of fish. I didn’t even eat it because it was very dry and over cooked. At that point I wanted to leave so I asked for a dessert to go. I now arrived home to open this dessert. This is a joke. Very bad experience.
