Description

At a recent visit to a local Dunkin', patrons shared a series of disappointing experiences that suggest a troubling decline in service quality. Customers reported inconsistent drink orders, with some receiving completely incorrect items, while others endured long waits and poor communication from staff. The drive-thru proved frustratingly slow, leaving cars stranded with no employees in sight. Despite some acknowledging moments of peace and helpful staff, the overall sentiment conveyed inadequate staffing and unengaged service. As frustrations escalate among loyal customers, this Dunkin' location appears to be in dire need of a management overhaul to restore its reputation.

It's a Dunkin', so you know what to expect. Consider it the equivalent of McDonald's, but for breakfast pastries. Their donuts are satisfactory, though not particularly remarkable—yet they're consistently reliable. My child likes them, which is why we continue to visit. The staff is fantastic and certainly deserves a pay increase. I'm always impressed by how composed they are when handling challenging customers; it's truly remarkable. I mean, who gets upset over being given donuts? However, they often find themselves short-staffed and balancing several tasks at the same time. To be honest, they deserve better compensation for their hard work.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience at this restaurant. While we were placing our order in the drive-thru, the employee kept interrupting us to talk to someone else. When we finally got to the window, they asked us to repeat our order, completely unaware of what we had just said at the speaker. I had specifically ordered a toasted white chocolate latte with almond milk, but what I got was just a cup of milk with chocolate syrup. It looked like they misunderstood my request for almond milk as wanting no coffee at all. Unbelievable! We also ordered three doughnuts, and they asked us almost five times which ones we wanted. This was by far the worst Dunkin' experience I've ever had—do yourself a favor and avoid this location!

The standout feature of this DD location is its peaceful ambiance, making it the perfect spot to work on your laptop while savoring a cup of coffee in solitude. Visiting in the early morning offers a charming and serene experience.

The Wayne, New Jersey Dunkin' location was a disappointing experience. I visited this morning, and the person taking orders was incredibly slow, frustrating everyone in line. He asked for my order three times. My husband and I specified our coffee should be hot, and he acknowledged it. However, the coffee we received was barely warm. When we politely asked for it to be heated, the employee transferred the coffee to a utensil and placed it under a machine, then completely forgot about it. We had to wait another five minutes before my husband intervened and told them to just keep the coffee. We also ordered an everything bagel, which we didn’t enjoy at all. Customers behind us were visibly upset and even argued before we left. We chose Dunkin' to celebrate National Coffee Day, hoping to enjoy our coffee, but it turned out to be the worst experience. My husband used to be a regular Dunkin' customer in Boston, where the service was much better. This visit was a complete letdown.

I won’t be coming back to this Dunkin’ location anytime soon. I stopped by at 4:00 p.m. and ended up waiting 10 minutes in the drive-thru, only to find no employees inside. I wasn’t the only one frustrated—about a dozen other cars were stuck in the same situation. The employees-only back door was wide open, but no staff were around. It’s baffling that a place would operate like this, leaving the back door open and just putting up a sign that says, “door broken, please use drive-thru.”
