The service was quick, and all the food was cooked... read more I visited this restaurant with limited time, and I informed the waitress that I needed to leave before 10 am. The service was quick, and all the food was cooked perfectly! The bacon was crispy, the toast was brown, the eggs were beautifully cooked, and the oat milk cappuccino was a great way to start a busy work day. I will definitely be returning and will also bring friends next time.

The inside was bustling w... read more We stopped by this restaurant on our way home from a weekend getaway. It's hidden down an alley, but the A board made it easy to spot. The inside was bustling with customers, but the staff quickly found us seats at a low table since it was too cold to sit outside. The menu had a great selection, perfect for a variety of lunch options. My brie, bacon, and cranberry sandwich was delicious. I probably should have shared it, as it left me with no room to try any of the freshly baked cakes. I'll have to save that for next time. The staff were delightful and provided excellent service.

We visited Haslemere on Bank Holiday Monday and were disappointed by Darnley's, who failed to take our order after a 15 minute wait. In contrast, the staff at Oliver's were efficient and friendly, despite being busy. Avoid Darnley's and try Oliver's instead. It seems Hemingway's is not even open, so Oliver's must be doing something right!
