Really bad food. Worst roast I've ever had. We had roast lamb and roast beef. Both were bland as bland could be. Meat was leather shoe colour and very poor tasteless riddled with fat. Likely reheated for the 4th time. Food came out too quickly. Gravy tasteless. Yorkshire overcooked. Place needs a deep clean. Coffee machine looks like it's never had a good wipe down. While opinions on the food quality are mixed, many diners praise the substantial and satisfying roasts, as well as the excellent homemade pies. The staff shines with their friendliness and efficiency, ensuring a pleasant experience. Although some areas could use a bit more attention, the well-kept beer selection and inviting ambiance make this pub a worthwhile visit for those craving comfort food in a cozy setting.
