What Malinda McClure doesn't like about Bronte Road Bistro:
I once had a shockingly back experience here and thought that maybe, it's time to bury the hatchet. I'll give this place another shot, as I love French bistro food. I thought some of our food looked and tasted funny, but put it down to me being biased. Needless to say, 3 of us got food poisoning... Thanks for that. View all feedback.
From the freshest Merimbula Oysters to the succulent perfect Spatchcock with side of slaw peas and Goats cheese with sensational wine this was one of the best meals Ive had in a long time
This looks great and as a local I was always going past thinking of a reason to go. Then we had one, well not really but we made one. It was very disappointing. Way overpriced for food with no identity. shame

We went to the restaurant on the last night of an extended trip to visit our daughter who lives in Bronte. A first visit for all of us. The welcome was so warm we couldn't help but have a special evening. The two staff members were so fabulous and knowledgeable regarding both the wines and the food. She could even tell the exact spot the oysters came from. The stuffed Zucchini flowers were delicious as were the oysters. The confit my husband had was perfect. The wine advice we had was spot on and we enjoyed a perfectly chilled Rose. We had a special evening in lovely surroundings a perfect end before our return to London.
