What User likes about The Cornish Bakery:
this small box at the corner of the high street has the friendly, helpful staff. don't let them get away from the somewhat inappropriate name like we once! we regularly call to take sausage rolls (excellent, very fluffy baked) and quality coffee. on the cliff to enjoy. reasonably priced, constantly busy and always served with a cheerful smile. friendly chap served us. eat a decent standard. beautiful coffee. prompt service. the toilets! a correct layer of dust and hair that covers the flowing and surfaces with an aroma of old urine. urgh. it is a small space and these flows should be wiped off daily. they question hygiene elsewhere. read moreNestled in the heart of Southwold, this beloved bakery and café offers a delightful array of artisanal pastries, fresh bread, and comforting meals. Patrons rave about the flavorful pasties and exquisite foccacia, often crafted by head baker Johnny, whose dedication to quality shines through. The warm, friendly atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for coffee and cake, with locals and visitors alike appreciating its early opening hours. While some aspects, like cleanliness and occasional lukewarm beverages, can disappoint, the consistent creativity and passion evident in the food truly create a memorable dining experience worth revisiting.
