As soon as we walked in, we felt a friendly and cozy atmosphere. The menu offers soups, sandwiches, appetizers, and other delicious options. We decided to start with loaded tater tots and fried cheese curds, both of which were excellent. The cheese curds had a light coating that wasn't too heavy or greasy, but just crispy enough to add a crunchy texture. For our main courses, we both ordered fish dishes, as it was Friday in Wisconsin. My partner got the traditional fish fry with sweet potato French fries, and I chose the fried fish sandwich. Both meals were fantastic, and we left with satisfied stomachs. The staff was very kind and helpful. We felt fortunate to have stumbled upon this hidden gem and will definitely return.

The menu features great specials and the staff is friendly and accommodating. It's the perfect local hangout.

When I walked in with one other person, both th... read more I had been to this restaurant before, but it had been a while. I was really excited to try the Cajun baked fish. When I walked in with one other person, both the bartender and possibly the owner looked at us and watched as we sat down at a table in the bar area. Ten minutes passed and we still hadn't been greeted, even though it wasn't busy, especially for just two people. A few more minutes went by and a group of older people came in and were immediately greeted and given menus, while we were still being ignored but watched. The tables had condiments on them, so we assumed we could sit down and be greeted in a reasonable amount of time. However, we ended up leaving and going elsewhere because we were never acknowledged by any of the staff. This had also happened to my mom and sister about a year ago. The service was terrible.
