Our order was ta... read more Culvers was better than expected, and my expectations were high. We stayed on a sunny Sunday at 11:30 outside of Waunakee and we hardly waited. Our order was taken immediately, and we gathered our drinks and spices while waiting for our fresh food. It was delivered in a reasonable amount of time and it was delicious! The concretes put others (to see you, DQ) to shame. Everyone was friendly and there was enough space to sit in the dining area. That was an unforgettable visit. If you're in the area, stop.

I've been here many times, and ... other than the occasional slow service (they make everything fresh so sometimes it takes longer) ..., it's a great experience. It's clean, well run and very friendly. They have both indoor and outdoor service. We mostly use drive thru, but occasionally eat inside or outside. I like the salads, especially the seasonal ones like Strawberry Fields salad (summer only). The burgers and the shakes are good as well. They also have good mash potatoes, slaw and fries. You can order fries without salt and/or extra crispy which is nice. I don't recommend the chicken tenders as they are very high in salt.
