Description
**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
Nestled next to a truck stop, this restaurant offers a nostalgic charm reminiscent of mom-and-pop diners, but recent visits reveal a disparity between expectations and reality. Formerly celebrated for its generous portions and hearty fare, many patrons now express disappointment over inadequate service and unsanitary conditions. Experiences range from unwelcoming staff interactions to concerning cleanliness issues. However, some diners still praise the hearty biscuits and gravy and other breakfast staples, noting the solid portions and attentive coffee service. While the food quality gets mixed reviews, it appears that significant improvements are needed in both service and hygiene to reinstate its former glory.

Went to eat with my cousin. The waitress looked at us funny and didn't say anything. We sat down in a table, and waited about 30-45 seconds. Nobody told us anything and the man sitting in front looked at us and then looked down. I felt like they were having a Donald trump discussion before we got there. I hate to play the racist card, but the 2016 diesel truck we drove up in reflects that we are not taking nobody's job nor are we underbidding the whites. All it says is were hard workers. We even walked out slowly to see if the waitress would offer us a menu or a chair. We were polite about the whole visit, which is why I'm writing this review. Wouldn't want this to happen to any of my fellow mexican American, Latino, or mexican citizen who fought so hard to become a citizen and getting treated as a criminal.
I found the food to be boring and greasy. The interior is extremely outdated and a little scary.
Food is good and large portions.... the only downfall is a waitress I had was definitely on something... she dropped and broke a coffee cup and kept walking around it before she picked it up
