What ANN WINN dislikes about Diner 36:
My party of 5 visited this Sunday at around 11 am. The place was half full and was told to set at a clean table. We sat for around 15 minutes no water, no menus nothing. There were a couple of people that sat down after us and was given menus right away. I love to visit small local diners but since we couldn't even get knowledge we took out $50 to $60 somewhere else. My family and I have dined at this restaurant numerous times, and the food has always been good to very good. However, the service has been inconsistent. The main issue I have with this restaurant is from our most recent visit the day before yesterday. My daughter ordered Tilapia, while my wife and I opted for hamburgers and fries with soup. While my daughter's meal was satisfactory and the soup and fries were fine, the hamburgers turned out to be fake meat, similar to the Impossible Whopper. We realized this before taking a bite, but decided to eat it anyway to avoid wasting food and time. It was a mistake - my wife managed to finish hers, but I couldn't and we both ended up getting sick. We were sick on and off until the next morning. When a menu item is labeled as a hamburger, one would expect it to be made from beef, not some lab-made substitute that causes illness. I kept the uneaten portion in my freezer, initially planning to feed it to my dog upon returning home. However, due to our illness, I decided to keep it just in case we needed to investigate further. As for parking, there are plenty of spots available.
The breakfast at this restaurant was fantastic, one of the best I've ever had. They also offer a full menu all day long. I decided to have pasta and ravioli for breakfast and it was delicious. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect score of 5.
This restaurant is a fantastic choice for lunch, with prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect rating of 5. I highly recommend trying the Cowboy Skillet dish.
Myself and my family have ate there many times, the food was always good to very good. The service has been hit and miss. The big problem I have with this restaurant is when we went to eat there the day before yesterday my daughter ordered Tilspia and myself and my wife and I ordered the hamburger and fries with soap. My daughter's dinner was good and our soup and fries where good also, but here is the big problem the hamburgers where not real meat I guess they where made of what a impossible whopper is made of. We noticed it before we started to eat and my wife said it can't be that bad let's just eat it so we don't have to waste the food and time, big mistake I didn't finish mine but she did and we almost didn't make it home before getting sick and we where sick off on on till the next morning. When it says hamburger on the menu you should get beef not something made in a lab that makes you sick. I keep the portion that I didn't eat and it's in my freezer, I was going to feed it to my dog when we returned home but because we where so sick I didn't, I just put it in the freezer just incase we got worse.
