Reaction Mass Cafe - Watervliet

I love, love, love the food at Reaction Mass Cafe! My husband and I are huge fans of Arclight Brewery and when they decided to finally offer food (full time), I was so thankful to hear that it was that of Chefs Casey Calie Jean and their newest adventure Reaction Mass Cafe! From a hearty grilled cheese tomato soup, to a warm panini style sandwich, to chili dogs, we haven't had a single thing that we haven't loved! They even go the extra mile to package the food accordingly if you're grabbing something to go, making sure it stays warm and fresh until you're ready to DEVOUR it later. I highly recommend this *new* spot inside Arclight in Watervliet. Amazing food Friendly staff!

Best Italian beef in the area. I can't wait to try more of the menu.

So I don’t know about you, but I like my little community and I also like to support my local businesses that keep my community going. So with that being said, we ventured out tonight to Arclight Brewery to try the cafe that just opened inside of the brewery called Reaction Mass Cafe. Simple pub style food with a nice twist. We tried 4 menu items tonight and I have to say EVERYTHING we tried was DELICIOUS! I’m not typically a fan of Italian Beef sandwiches because either the au jus is tasteless or it’s too soggy, it just never seems to strike me as something I would go out of my way to order. That was Not the case with this one! It was SIMPLE, and DELICIOUS! They had spicy but not too hot giardiniera, au jus that was perfect and the meat was tender and flavorful.
