Shuler's - Watertown

We don't visit this place nearly as often as we should. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is usually outstanding. The staff is always very friendly.

I had a fantastic first experience at this restaurant! The staff was incredibly friendly and supportive of one another. I ordered the beef liver, fried cheese curds, and rainbow cake. Since I was celebrating, I indulged a bit! Everything was delicious!

I went out to eat with a group of five, and we had an amazing experience. The food was tasty and fairly priced. The service was top-notch; despite the restaurant being busy, the staff handled everything smoothly for the customers. My dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Overall, I was very pleased and will certainly be back!

Average Diner offers classic American cuisine. For lunch, we tried the Bacon Cheeseburger, accompanied by fries and sweet tea. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they brew their own iced tea, which was a delightful addition. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium rare, just the way I like it. The fries were pretty standard. There was ample seating available. Overall, it’s not a bad spot, and I might consider returning if I’m in the area again.

I stopped by with my boyfriend and tried the French onion soup, which was absolutely delicious! The staff was friendly and attentive. My grandpa used to own this place back when it was called Howard's, before he changed the name to Shuler's, sold it, and moved away. I've always wanted to visit, and I finally got the chance on a trip back from Niagara Falls. It's definitely an old-school establishment, and the interior hasn’t changed much since he left. But don’t be fooled—everything is homemade and the portions are generous. I would much prefer to eat here than at the chain restaurants in Watertown.
