Fantastic dinner spot! We chose to sit at the bar, and although the bartender was solo, making service a bit slow, it wasn’t an issue for us since we had nowhere to rush off to. What Chrissy Symeonakis doesn't like about Fairground Inn:
I give all 5 stars on the service, food and atmosphere. My main 3 stars is because I don’t understand why this restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Ever since Covid the non corporate and local owned restaurants are not open 7 days a week. I can understand Sundays but weekdays is disappointing. View all feedback.

My wife and I used to visit this place for pizza when I was a soldier in the 10th Mountain Division over 30 years ago. It had some of the best mom-and-pop New York-style pizza I've ever tasted in my life.
This restaurant is truly exceptional. I happened to find it while passing through town, and I was absolutely amazed. The food was incredible, the service was impeccable, and the prices were extremely reasonable. I enjoyed my meal so much that I returned the very next night to explore more of their diverse menu. I’m not exaggerating when I say that the food was so delicious that I had every intention of taking photos and writing a review, but I got so wrapped up in my meal that I only managed to snap a picture of the soup before getting completely distracted. The Fairground Inn is an absolute must-visit when you're in Watertown. I can't imagine dining anywhere else during my visits!
Went here for a quick bite to eat with some friends. The environment was very relaxed and it had a local history tied into the decor. Food was great as well as the service. Definitely a local favorite, would recommend!
Usually excellent. My chicken (Fairgrounds Chicken dinner) was overcooked and very dry. I always love their salads with the house dressing and any of the sandwiches. Very fresh ingredients including veg's and bread. My family also enjoyed a pizza and French Onion soup.
