A local recommended this award winning pizza place. The beer selection was awesome. Most everyone ordered a calzone, one had pizza and I tried the chislic, a South Dakota tradition. The calzones were mostly dough, which was disappointing. One calzone was actually fine. The pizza had a super salty crust. While visiting the area for a customer meeting, I received a recommendation for Dempsey's. We really enjoyed the ambiance, and the craft beers were excellent. The decor featured an intriguing blend of Irish, German, and military influences. Although I wasn't particularly hungry, I ordered the classic fish and chips, which turned out to be quite good.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere. The food and drinks were great, and I plan to return to try the pizza, which looked delicious from a distance.
This is my favorite pizza place! I really enjoy the unique toppings, and the gluten-free cauliflower crust is surprisingly delicious. My family has traveled the 55 miles to Watertown several times just to eat at Dempsey's. I absolutely love this restaurant!
While I didn't have the beer the pizzas were and are excellent. Great crusts, huge variety of toppings and sizes just super. Their outdoor seating is dog friendly as well if you have the fuzzy friends with you. Price was very good for what you got as well and service was spectacular as well
Lively fun spot with great pizza and beer. The calzones are really tasty! Big open space with plenty of room to hang out and enjoy.
