Family and I swung in on a whim on our way back to Iowa since the parking lot was full and was not disappointed! I had the grilled turkey sandwich and my parents each had a special and all of it was great, including dessert. We were seated quickly, everyone was friendly and attentive, it was clean and good atmosphere. Wish we had something like this near home! Definitely a spot to return to. View all feedback.
What Kelly R doesn't like about Wheel Inn:
I was here for a breakfast, by the time we were served we had supper. My pancakes were unnecessarily flipped. They were cooked so thoroughly on one side that the they were cooked through. We got some really rubbery eggs that were mostly shell free. The hash browns were cooked on both sides. I was so happy to get something that wasn't destroyed by the cook. Be a favorite breakfast for years when we lived in South Dakota. Now we stop when we visit our children.
I've had the privilege of eating here many times and everytime has been great! Breakfast especially is really good here.
We had a great dinner at Wheel Inn. As usually the food was hot and delicious, and the service always on point.

The Wheel Inn is a great place to visit for a country meal of meat and potatoes. Don't expect a gourmet meal but a good wholesome dinner. The company and wait staff are excellent.
