Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill

Ordered takeout of quarter chicken dinner and half rib dinner receipt time was 05:13 PM. At around 30 minutes I inquired on the status of my order and was advised everything was ready to go, just waiting on the half rib. I joked to another waiting customer that at least it wasn 't North Bay Swiss Chalet which I had experienced as being out of chicken . Then a customer approaches the order desk at 05:55 and is advised the wait will be 45 minutes because... we 're out of chicken . I observed the staff/manager being extremely patient and respectful with an elderly customer who thought she had been charged too much. I think they were short staffed. I got out of there around 6:05 06:10. I 'll think twice next time because I don 't want to wait an hour.

When someone brings their order home, you expect it to be like in the photo. Ribs' 1/2 rack, great, done perect. The 3 dark meat leg let a lot to be desired. Very Very small 1/4 chicken, not worth the price, and the 1/2 full coldslaw was a disapointment, Roll fresh, baked potato was ok.

First let me say our ribs and roast beef were great. That's where it ends. Baked potatoes were a little under done but eatable. My wife had 1/2 rib 1/4 chicken dinner. The small chicken leg had no thigh to it. When our waitress came by I asked if that was a 1/4 chicken. She said yes they are small. I said where is the thigh? She had no answer. I guess you have to add the up charge white meat to get a larger portion. they also forgot my wife's cole slaw so gave her a to go container which was very small and 1/2 full. Quite an embarrassment. Restaurants have increased their prices, made smaller portions and are looking for a higher percentage tip. Why should customers go to a sit down restaurant?

We used to frequent this restaurant often, but have now switched our preferred location to Swiss Chalet. The service is slow and it takes a long time to receive our food.

Poor customer service via email, after a very simple product was missing from my order. Luckily there are lots nearby, easy to choose a different location
