Swiss Chalet - Waterloo

We popped in for a quick bite to eat because you can always count on Swiss chalet! Heather was our server and she was amazing! She was super friendly and super helpful and made our experience of that much better. Highly recommend!

Our waitress Heather was helpful and kind.I really enjoyed the chicken stir fry which I tried for the first time. This restaurant is now under new management and it shows. It's everything we've come to expect from Swiss Chalet. Thank you for a lovely lunch experience before our movie yesterday.

I had a lovely time here yesterday with my 2 younger kids yesterday. The service was fantastic, the food was fresh and they were super nice. I was asked many time how the food was and was even given some free cotton candy for the kids. They're definitely very family oriented and it was a pleasant experience.Kid-friendliness: They had huge food portions for the kids. Plus, the kids meal includes a drink, main and a dessert.

Do NOT eat here!!!! The worst experience from service to food!! I LOVE Swiss Chalet!! This location at the Boardwalk should be shut down! Service is poor at best but the state of restaurant was beyond disgusting! 7-8 tables full of dirty dishes with only 3 tables of customers....short staffed is a poor excuse! Manager was no where to be seen.....he/she should have been out apologizing for the filth and also cleaning up tables!!! Manager should be fired and Swiss Chalet should be more than embarrassed! As a customer I took time to walk around and take photos and shared them in my complaint and received a joke of a response. Do not eat at this location..... No surprise to the multiple one stars on Yelp!!

Waited in the entrance for 5 min. 3 servers looked at us, then went on with their conversation. No problem. We found a delicious restaurant 100m away called Almadina. Great service over there.
