Our server was attentive and helpful during the ordering process. We opted for the five-course tasting menu, but unfortunately, I only enjoyed two of the dishes, which is disappointing given the price. Additionally, the mocktails fell short; one was bitter and the other sour, leading us to feel that perhaps the drinks weren't being tasted before being served. The standout dishes were the scallop pasta and the halibut, although the cabbage roll detracted from the fish. Moreover, the coconut rice served with this dish was cold and undercooked. We had high hopes for the mushroom ravioli, but it turned out to be extremely salty. When we mentioned this to our server, she kindly offered to replace it, but we found our options for substitutions to be limited, so we decided to let it go. While there's a clear effort being made to enhance the presentation, some elements felt unnecessary, such as the flowers in the cocktails. Overall, the restaurant has a lot of potential, but as it currently stands, the prices do not reflect the dining experience we had.

The gochujang cauliflower was outstanding, and we definitely preferred the tenderloin over the halibut. They offer a range of intriguing and delicious cocktails. Our server was excellent—very friendly and accommodating. The only downside for me was that I found it a bit on the pricey side.

We indulged in the five-course tasting menu, and I opted for the premium wine pairings while my husband enjoyed a variety of cocktails. Each course and drink was beautifully presented and delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced and delightful, and the wine pairings were both surprising and enjoyable! Our server and the sommelier were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. This restaurant feels special without being pretentious. It's a lovely venue, though it can get a bit noisy at times. They truly know their craft. I can’t wait to return and explore the full menu!

We were surprised to find this upscale fine dining in Waterloo, CHEF is really talented, food is so delicious it puts a lot of Toronto high end restaurants below its level. The attention to detail, presentation and taste reallywowed us. The pasta dish really stood out the most for us and the oysters were just an explosion of flavour in your mouth. Wewill definitely be back next time when we are in town. This is A GEM, if you love food, art, you definitely need to come andgive this place a try!
