The person at the register today, who I believe was named Sean, was extremely pleasant and helpful when I went to order a drink. They were very patient with me as I took my time deciding what to order. The service was quick but also top-notch quality.
A convenient location in uptown waterloo with amazing staff! Dropped by for my Starbucks fix around 11am there was a bit of a line. The lady who took my order the gentleman who handed out my drink were super friendly. Another worker also gave each person waiting for their drinks a cookie I waited around 10mins for my tall caramel frap! Check out my IG page @kellychows for more! ?
I often visit Dieucks restaurant, but today I had the worst service experience. Janice, the employee I encountered, was extremely unpleasant. When I asked a simple question about using my loyalty points during a service outage, I received a blunt and unhelpful response. I was told that since they couldn't accept debit payments, they also couldn't accept loyalty points as payment. When I mentioned my dissatisfaction to other staff members, they replied dismissively saying it wasn't their problem. I used to be a partner at Dieucks and I know how things should work, so I will be returning to discuss this issue further.
I frequent this restaurant for its strong coffee, friendly staff, and my wife's favorite London Fog latte. I have to deduct a star, however, as I noticed a roach during my lunch break, which is not a good sign. I understand that businesses are facing challenges due to COVID-19, but I hope they are able to address this issue soon, as this location is very convenient.
