I have to say that my family has been getting takeout from here for years now. The owners are so nice! And their falafel plates are wonderful. Portions are huge and there is always food left over for snacks. They have recently opened another storefront in the Superstore plaza at Highland and Fischer-Hallman - we have tried it once and it too was wonderful. Patronize these hardworking people! What User doesn't like about Phillips Shawarma:
Had a chicken shawarma for lunch. It was "okay" but certainly not great. The pita was not fresh. The chicken was served from a steam table (again, not fresh like most places have), and there wasn't as much meat as you get at other places. The veggies and garlic sauce was good. So, basically, okay but nothing special. There are other shawarma places close by that are fantastic, so I doubt I will be returning. View all feedback.
I absolutely adore this Shawarma restaurant near my workplace. It's my favorite spot for a quick and delicious lunch. Located in a plaza, there is ample parking available, but I usually prefer to walk there since it's a short distance from my office. I love everything on their menu, especially the Chicken Shawarma plate, Chicken Tawook, and Lebanese Salad. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. During the lunch rush, there may be a line, but they are quick to fulfill orders, so the wait is usually no more than 15-20 minutes. They also offer their delicious Garlic Sauce, hummus, and baba ganoush for sale. The staff is humble and attentive. Don't miss out on trying this place!
I have had shawarmas all over the province in the last 20 years and Phillips Shawarma ranks in the top 5. Not a massive shawarma but a good price and filling. Flavours were amazing. The worker was pleasant and service was quick!
Very tasty food, but the portions are small compared to every other shawarma place in the area.
Hands down the best shawarma place! They have the best chicken and felafel plates. And the man and women who work here are so sweet and kind. We will continue to come here time and time again.
10 bucks for a small rice and a scoop of chicken with the garlic and pomegranate sauce. Soo delish!! I get it a few times a week. Fast service, and food is always fresh. Yum!
