It was just average for me. I was a bit disappointed with the Huropie Pie and Nanaimo bar; they tasted like prepackaged products that I can get anywhere in the food business. I had assumed they would be homemade for some reason! View all feedback.
Small little fast food eatery in downtown Waterloo. All chooses are vegan…. So always a plus. Not the healthiest of food…. But was still delicious Updated from previous review on 2024-08-22
We grabbed a quick bite here and enjoyed the food. it is mainly for takeaways. their vegan soft serve ice cream was fantastic.
So cool to see a fully vegan fast food place! Order on a kiosk (which i like) and then after the food was ready in like 5 minutes, it really was fast! I got the chicken sandwich with onion rings and the orange milkshake and everything was very good. They make everything in house too. The prices are a little expensive but the milkshakes were on a great deal when I went. Would come here again and look forward to Odd Burger expanding to more cities! They also played Lana Del Rey (Born to Die) which is absolutely amazing!! Updated from previous review on 2024-03-17
I came here for the soft serve ice cream. The ice cream looks great, but it was a bit gooey er than I expected and instead of a sweet vanilla flavour it had a vinegary, acidic taste that reminded me of rancid food. I went back to the shop to flag this, but was assured that this flavour was normal for soy soft serve and that the machine was cleaned and re stocked the prior day. Both my friend and I ended up throwing our soft serve cones away since the taste was a little too concerning; I’ve had soy ice cream for years and haven’t encountered this type of acidic taste before. Perhaps go to the nearby FourAll if you want vegan ice cream. I’m still giving the store two stars since it might just have been a bad batch and the rest of the menu was fully vegan and looked good soft serve just might not be the store’s forté.
