We will definitely be returning to try more dishes. The Pistachios occupied Chai was also great. However, I have deducted a point because they seemed unprepared for dietary restrictions. Although we asked about gluten-free options beforehand and were assured, when we returned to pick up a takeout order, the server told us that the beef bowl sauce might not be gluten-free. They also repeatedly warned us that they could not guarantee the food was gluten-free. While we understand that cross-contamination is always a risk, their numerous warnings seemed excessive and somewhat alarming. Thankfully, no one in our party got sick. Despite this, we still plan to return because the food is just too good.

However, I deducted a point due to the restaurant seeming unprepared to handle dietary restrictions. Despite inquiring about gluten free options beforehand and being directed towards the bowls, when picking up our takeout, the server expressed uncertainty about the sauce on the beef bowl. She repeatedly warned us that they could not guarantee the food was gluten free, which felt excessive and overly cautious. Extremelydisappointed as I'll be losing my go to take out restaurant due to the changes. Used to recommend to everyone, no longer will berecommending.

As vegetarians, we have limited options in KW when it comes to actual good food and I am ecstatic that I discovered Exotica early on when I movedto Waterloo. Their paneer Frankie's are to die for! Would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for some lip smackingIndian food with a twist.
