A charming bakery offers a mixed bag of baked goods, from disappointing Streudel to heavenly German pretzels. Friendly staff but lacking customer service toward regulars. Delicious coffee and desserts, especially the black forest roll. Limited seating, cozy ambiance, low prices. Owner Klemens adds a personal touch. Fresh, reasonably priced items worth ditching grocery store options for. Students and locals alike rave about the cozy atmosphere and delicious treats. A favorite spot for bread and sweet treats, with friendly staff and fantastic coffee. A must-visit for those craving fresh, affordable baked goods.

What Savion Ledner dislikes about Bread & Bretzel Basket:
We were disappointed with the German bakery products. Unfortunately the Bretzels and Bretzel Buns do not at all taste or even look like they should. I picked up one of their business cards and they list a President and a Vice President I think what they need is a good baker instead. This place will definitely not on our preferred list. Good baked at a fair price. I tried a black, a black forest roll, a sausage roll, a pulp and a chocolate cake. they also make their own chocolate so I tried a dark chocolate with hazelnut square. the pork had a wonderful lamination and was super crisp and flaky, but a bit dark on one side and would have benefited from zimt or more sugar. it was still superior, many others I have just tasted of the quality of baking. the black forest roll was my stand. the chocolate was tempered and the generous cherry filling was sour and a huge taste place. excellent! the chocolate tea tea tea tea was nice short if perhaps a tad thick and the inner was uzy and not oversweet. would eat again. the sausage roll was tasteful with exactly the right amount of seasoned and tasty even at cold. not particularly flaky, but perfect for a take and eat without chaos. the sprout was what I had to think about most. especially as they compare with my beloved grain harvest. what impressed me most was the textur. these have really nailed the balance between chewing on the outside and soft fuffiness inside. I think I have to grab a GH-one and one of them and eat them next to each other to make a final decision. they are both excellent. everything and everything very satisfied with this bakery and will be back.
I heard that this was the best place to get authentic German tasty. unfortunately it is closed for me until the 12th january.
I'm thrilled to have this amazing local bakery! The selection of chocolate, marzipan, pretzels, strudel, and bread is all fantastic. Everything is delicious!
