Restaurant Des Erables - Waterloo

We decided to not cook and went here for dinner. Very local with a campground adjoining. There were a few tables and it was very québécois conversations in English and French. The thin crust pizza was very good. The Greek salad was definitely home made with the chefs influence and the vegetables soup was like grandma used to make. As in most canteens in Quebec the roast chicken was excellent and the side of Greek potatoes made it unique. One diner had the salsbury steak with grilled onions and the third had a grilled cheese sandwich with the soup and salad. Moderate priced wine and drinks. As well as a cosy atmosphere makes it easy to return or pick up a pizza for those nights you are arriving at your weekend retreat or just don't feel liking cooking. Very nice bilingual staff as well!

Went here for lunch after a bike ride in the area. Had a large veggie pizza, two beers and split a salad. Pizza was excellent and salad was above average. This was more food than most couples would eat for lunch and I'm sure a medium pizza would have been plenty. For what we got, I thought it was a little pricey, but this is a tourist area.Service was good and it had a decent atmosphere.I would not recommend this place because of the prices, but the food was good.

I buy their products in Montreal, and it is very good at a place called Autour d'un Pain located at 1219 Ste-Catherine street east.

My partner and I went to Magog and stopped at this restaurant for lunch. I ordered the asparagus soup and the Ham Steak from the menu. The taste of the food was decent, not bad. You should give it a try!

I came here for lunch after a bike tour in the area. We ordered a large vegetarian pizza, two beers, and a shared salad. The pizza was delicious and the salad was better than average. It was definitely more food than most couples would eat for lunch, and I imagine a smaller pizza would have been enough. The prices were a bit on the expensive side for what we got, but I understand that this is a tourist area. The service was good and the atmosphere was decent. While I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place due to the prices, the food was tasty.
