I don't have that good quality and customer service in a good restaurant. very attentive staff. Food flavor: Really impressed by the flavors of the paella and the lisboa steak was very good and cooked as ordered. Will come back and recommend to anyone looking for a great dinner. I love it! I ordered the codfish casserole! Amazing..3 to 4 people can eat off of this dish...We were a party of 14. We tasted each other's dishes. There was plenty to go around! Decent size dinners. The staff was great attentive. They were very pleasant always around if we needed anything. Thank you so much for a pleasant great service!!
Food is great! Don't be fooled by the location — if you want good Portuguese food this is the place to go.
The location of the place is not ideal, it feels like you are in a depressed almost abandoned section of town and having the parking lot lined with cement barrier blocks is less than inviting. Even the sign could use some freshening up. The interior feels more like a 80's era bar or pizza joint with lots of tannish yellow wood. But don't be swayed by the appearance of the shabby exterior and dated interior. The food is amazingly flavorful, well balanced, and nicely portioned. The menu is the perfect size and the daily specials are thoughtful. the authentic food more than makes up for the lack of ambience. It is not inexpensive but it is totally worth it.
This is not my first review of Lisboa Restaurant. Every time I eat there, I am eager to write a review because the food is so exceptionally good. My husband and I had dinner at Lisboa ten days ago and we're still talking about how good the food was and wishing we would go there more often. I started my meal with the soup of the day, which was creamy and flavorful. The Lulas Estufadas (stewed calamari) I ordered were delicious, well seasoned, in a light sauce, which did not overwhelm the taste of the squid. I ordered them with white rice, instead of potatoes, so the rice would soak up the sauce (this was a good idea). The calamari were tender and perfectly cooked. My husband ordered the Bacalhau Com Natas (codfish caserole) and he enjoyed it. For dessert, we both had rice pudding. It reminded me of the rice pudding my mother used to make. Need I say more? We completed the meal with a Portuguese wine, Chamine, which our server had suggested. We loved it. Our server was competent and friendly. The owner, as usual, was cordial and very attentive. Every time we eat at Lisboa we feel at home. The overall ambiance is relaxed and non-pretentious. We are now looking forward to our next visit!
