What Princess Hettinger doesn't like about Diorio's Restaurant And Bar:
I grew up on Diorio's food and I haven't been in years. My wife and I are originally from the Waterbury area and throughout our teens, twenties, and so on Diorio's was the place to go. However this time we ordered the Cod special and it was totally taste less. The calamari appetizer was good but the salad and desserts were just blah. It's safe to say we were disappointed. The food was outstanding, as the flavor was bursting from each of the items, from appetizers to desserts. I would highly recommend going and we will be sure to visit again!
Great spot for meeting with friends for dinner. Our waitress was very attentive, accommodated my request for a gluten free, vegan pasta meal that was not part of the menu, but that was executed beautifully.
Great food, professional service, with an atmosphere that is not available in local Ct restaurants.
