Ami's Crispy Bagels, LLC - Waterbury

Absolute GO TO mom and pop breakfast spot! Best breakfast around ! Everything they make is so fresh! Bagels come right from the oven to the trays and sell out quick! I always try to get an everything bagel when I visit ami?s! I have been coming here for years and food is always amazing!

What can you say, it's Ami's, the best bagels in Connecticut. A full assortment of fresh bagels and store made cream cheeses. I stopped in this morning and had a spinach bagel with sausage, egg and cheese and it was delicious! Paired with an Omar coffee and it was a perfect breakfast meal. My only suggestion would be that the young ladies behind the counter would be a little more warm and friendly, otherwise a long time favorite of mine.

Ami's is THE PLACE for fresh authentic bagels. Slightly crisp outside and buttery soft on the inside. Made the traditional way boiled then finished in the oven. Too many flavors to list. The salt bagels with scallion cream cheese are out of this world delicious. They also offer breakfast sandwiches and coffee. At least a half dozen flavors of cream cheese are available too.

Place is hit or miss. Today stopped in for bacon and egg and cheese but the person before me ordered 12 breakfast sandwiches. So instead ordered sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese. Waited just as long and when I got my order and paid and heading down road when I opened I have a sesame bagel w plain cream cheese. Considering I paid extra for scallion and got none, I am extremely disappointed. Look at bag since that is where they write it down and it says scallion cc so I guess they just don’t care. This is why I say it is hit or miss. Three years living in Waterbury and sometimes they get it right but most often something is messed up.
