Woody's Sports Grille - Waterboro

This restaurant offers tasty bar food, with the nachos, chicken tenders, and mozzarella sticks being particularly enjoyable. The peanut butter dessert is also outstanding. It’s a fun spot to catch a game, though my only complaint is that they close too early. Overall, it’s a fantastic place!

As someone new to the area, I've been exploring the local dining options. I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday evening, and it was quite busy. I had to wait for a seat at the bar and found it difficult to get the bartender's attention. Even after my food was served, I sat there waiting for silverware and a napkin, calling out to the bartender multiple times: "Excuse me. Excuse me. EXCUSE ME!" Eventually, I managed to catch her eye and received my silverware so I could enjoy my fish tacos. The tacos were good, but the salsa could have been fresher (the tomatoes seemed a bit past their prime). I would recommend trying 5 Ponds Public House down the street if it’s open, as this place didn’t leave me with a great impression. It’s unfortunate because I usually tip generously, but I won’t return here unless I have no other options.

Everything was fantastic, but the bottom of the burger bun was as hard as a rock. The waitress removed the charge from the bill. It was also quite loud.

I only had drinks, but I noticed many people seemed to be enjoying their meals. The staff was friendly, and the servings were generous!

My wife and I dined there and had quite a wait of 25 minutes to be seated. During that time, we noticed that regular customers were greeted warmly by name and informed that their “usual” drinks would be ready shortly, which made it clear that the staff prioritizes familiar patrons. Once we were finally seated, we placed our order, but it took an incredible 55 minutes for our food to arrive. The cooks could use additional training, as my burger was far from medium rare, and the fries were quite soft. Overall, we were disappointed with the experience.
