Nonna's Osteria - Wasilla

I had the best pizza I've ever had in Wasilla! Since I moved to the area, I've been on the lookout for a great Neapolitan pizza, and this one is definitely one of the best I've tried. We arrived just before closing for a takeout order, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, even at that late hour. It was our first visit, and the pizza chef took the time to chat with us, making us feel right at home. The rest of the team was fast, courteous, and made sure our order was just right. I will definitely go back whenever I'm in the mood for pizza because theirs was absolutely incredible!

I enjoyed a wonderful dinner this evening at Nonna’s! The pizza was absolutely delicious. It’s my favorite style, featuring a slightly thicker crust that’s baked in a wood-fired oven, imparting a delightful smoky flavor and a chewy texture. I also ordered a side salad with Caesar dressing, but it was actually a flavorful Italian vinaigrette instead. The atmosphere is serene and beautiful, filled with plants, stunning Italian artwork, and fantastic decorative lighting. Our server was warm, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. I highly recommend this restaurant!

What a charming and vibrant restaurant that has been around for just over a year! During my travels, I had a craving for pasta and meatballs, so I decided to eat here alone. The friendly owner, Marian, helped me get seated and take my order. I began my meal with a fresh salad drizzled with olive oil and lemon juice, followed by warm, freshly baked focaccia bread. For the main course, I savored a hearty bowl of freshly made pasta topped with a rich tomato sauce and delicious meatballs. Marian assured me that her recipes are authentic Italian. Be sure not to miss "Mary's Cookie" for dessert or to take home. These beloved cookies have been a favorite for 50 years, and Marian has now brought them back for everyone to enjoy at her restaurant, Nonna’s Osteria. It's a fantastic dining spot in Wasilla, Alaska—definitely worth a visit, so spread the word to your friends!

What an amazing restaurant! We both had side salads and margherita pizzas, and everything was delicious. The salads were fresh, and the pizza was simply outstanding. It was truly authentic Neapolitan-style pizza, just like what we had in Italy! So far, this is the best pizza we've sampled in Alaska! The atmosphere is cozy, but we were seated promptly, and the service was excellent!

I truly enjoyed the meal. It was incredibly fresh and authentic.
