Feedback
The restaurant offers a pleasant garden environment, but some inconsistencies were noted, such as cold coffee and a 4% surcharge on meals. Despite good service, the food didn't impress everyone, with some finding it average at best. However, the unique flavors from local sources and the vegetarian options received high praise. Additionally, the service was mixed, but the ambience and decor were generally well-received. The restaurant's high prices and difficulty with parking were drawbacks for some customers, although the food quality and attentive service were highlights for others. Overall, the restaurant provides a varied experience, with both positive and negative elements to consider.
A few things in bad taste for a restaurant that’s supposed to be a special occasion place: They can’t convert your bar tab to your table so when your table is ready you have to close out at the bar. it was very awkward and I’ve never “nice” seen a restaurant not just move the tab for you. They have blue soap in the bathroom for hands (like dish soap). It dried out my hands and smelled kinda bad. Come on!! They add a 4% surcharge on top of your meal for “the increased cost of goods and labor.” Gave me the ick. Increase your food prices and don’t be sketchy like this. Food was good but not good enough. No better than any takeout place. It definitely was the spot 6-7 years ago. It’s not anymore. Worst restaurant I have visited in the past 5 years. First tells me kids are not allowed, what restaurant says that kids are not allowed to dine in. There were multiple families with children sitting and dining in while I was there. Their excuse was oh if we had room outside we would sit you down. Then walks my family to a franchise Indian restaurant and says eat here it’s the same, while I was parking the car. Who does that, to full of themselves get over it it’s just food. The service was lack luster as we were never checked on until the end of the meal. All food ordered was wonderful and a beautiful decor. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
I have been wanting to visit here for several years. I wanted to get the tasting menu, but I went with someone who is non veg, so I tried 4 vegetable side curries and the bread basket instead. Asparagus was very good. Eggplant was tasty, but a bit toospicy for my liking. Malai kofta had delicious dumplings, but the sauce was bitter. Zucchini fritters were very dry, but thecurry was excellent. I ended up eating just the sauce with the bread. Breads were all great. Service was fantastic. Loved theinside ambiance, the patio space, and the silverware.
Been there are few times now. Tried the 6 course meal and thought it was worth the value and a lot of food. They even boxed the left over items which became my mid night snack and today's lunch. Drinks were great. Try Mumbai Manhattan if not sure what toget.
