I was very disappointed about the whole experience. my first time in policy was last year for a friend birthday and it was amazing. this time, that's right. the mimosas were terrible, the mix they use is not orange juice, but orange pfirsich crushed, so we had to turn off the waiter 3 times. eating was also terrible. came here with a party of 5 for my day we all moved extremely hungry and extremely hungry. the last time I came, it was amazing that I just don't understand. I will not come back. I seriously think about contact management, because no one should experience this so-called brunch. it is more a place to make pictures for the ambiente. Don't come here if you're hungry at all! so sad!

The U Street area of DC has a lot of interesting dining options, and Policy is one of them. It offers a trendy atmosphere, though it can be a bit pricey. The happy hour is a more budget-friendly option, but the dish sizes are smaller. The drinks can be hit or miss – my friend didn't enjoy her pink drink, but the cuban cocktail was quite good if you like stronger drinks. The food quality is high, especially the liver and tuna tartar. I'm not a fan of liver pate, but I found it to be pretty good. My friend loved it so much that she wanted to order some to take back to California for her family.

I had a fantastic experience hosting out-of-town friends for brunch at this restaurant. It was my first time trying POLICY, which is quite ironic considering I work in the policy field. I will definitely be returning in the future!
