Feedback
Mandu is a Korean restaurant located on K St NW that offers a relaxed atmosphere and bountiful food without the pressure of cooking your own meal. Despite some recent disappointments, including overcooked seafood and undercooked eggplant, the establishment still offers standout dishes like the spicy beef stew and KFC chicken appetizer. The service, while different due to Covid restrictions, is appreciated, with orders taken through your phone and food brought to the table. The menu, while lacking pictures, offers delicious and authentic options like the dolsot bibimbap. Overall, Mandu provides a memorable dining experience with excellent service, making it a fantastic spot for Korean cuisine in D.C.
My fiancé and I went out to Mandu for date night and truly enjoyed it. I thought the ambiance was nice but I had a false perspective of what my experience would be like. The KFC Wings were good. My fiancé and truly enjoyed our food. This restaurants was list as number 1 from 2 other Korean restaurants in dc. Although I enjoyed it I do not think it?s better than Anjufrc. The restaurant setting/decor plays into my opinion.
This place was okay. Their flavors were kinda bland especially their sundubu-jjigae. It didn't have any taste to it other than spiciness and the hefty price tag made me feel like I was scammed. We were told we only had 1.5 hours to dine because they had a reservation after that, which was fine because we knew we would be gone by then. We finished eating with 25 minutes left, but our waiter took a long time to bring us back the bill to sign. Then the host came to our table
Food was amazing!! Service was a bit different because of Covid, but appreciated. Order through your phone, food brought to the table. No actual service but definitely understandable!! Will go back again!
This place is fantastic, simply phenomenal food and service. I wish I would have taken pictures. Excellent sharing options, vegan, vegetarian, and more. Everything we had was delicious, authentic I think, and served and plated well. Excellent service- attentive, kind, and helpful. The martini was delicious, go outside your comfort zone, get some soju. Probably the singlebest meal we had in DC. I'm not even going to comment on the so-called wharf stuff. Worth the easy metro trip and short walk.Lovely part of town.
Decent, but not great Korean ??. Will be going back, as it’s the closest option, but when asked for basic ???, the guy came back with this sweet, watery sauce similar to Korean cocktail sauce that has gochujang in it... was weird. I just wanted to makemy own proper mandu dipping sauce combined with the soy sauce provided—which I learned from the best mandu restaurant in ??? ??? called Panda House. Prices were decent for DC, but not great for Korean food which is normally quite cheap.
