Feedback
Jardenea at the Melrose Georgetown Hotel offers seasonal dishes and strong cocktails. Service may be slow for large groups, but overall, it's a decent spot with friendly staff. Some diners were surprised by the lack of happy hour or loud noises from staff. However, many enjoyed the delicious food and excellent service, making Jardenea a hidden gem in DC. The hotel itself is pet-friendly, offering spacious rooms and a pleasant staff. With convenient location and cozy ambiance, the Melrose Georgetown Hotel is a recommended stay for those visiting the area.
We stayed at the Melrose Georgetown for two nights when visiting our daughter who had recently moved to Washington. The Melrose is a lovely boutique hotel in a great DC location. It is in a quiet section of Pennsylvania Avenue yet walking distance from the major Washington sites as well as Georgetown. The lobby is very pretty and has plenty of comfortable seating. The hotel rooms have nice furnishings and are quite comfortable. The Melrose provides free Lavazza coffee and flavored water in the lobby, which we enjoyed. But what really sets the hotel apart is the professional and friendly staff. Lelise, who checked us in, exudes warmth and is a great ambassador for the hotel. She couldn't do enough for us throughout our stay several times asking us whether we needed anything. We will be back, and look forward to our next stay at the Melrose!
My husband and I were celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary. The room we were given was EXCELLENT!! Their entire facility is beautiful and elegant. We were able to walk comfortably to the metro. We also loved the Fabulous Cafe just a few doors down from the hotel… DELICIOUS ? coffee. We can’t say enough nice things about their staff!! We especially appreciate Lelise and Teddy!! Wow!! Great customer service!!
The hotel was very accommodating and comfortable. I also brought my very good 145 pound bullmastiff girl the whole staff was so pleasant about it. I loved how dog friendly they truly were. It was a great time and a cute hotel!
Went for happy hour that was advertised on there website. We got there and was told they stopped happy hour 2 years ago. We 'll update the website then . Didn 't have time to find another place and they have outrageous prices even for dc. 9 dollar budlight. And 11 dollar craft beer which was Sam adams.
