Feedback
A local Indian restaurant in DC Metro Area has garnered mixed reviews, with some customers praising the food and atmosphere while others have expressed concerns over consistency and pricing. The restaurant offers a variety of Indian dishes, including favorites like Chicken Tikka Masala and Paneer, but some have found the portions to be smaller than expected and the prices not justifying the quality of the food. The outdoor seating setup with space heaters is complemented by a community-driven vibe, although cleanliness of the bathrooms has been a concern for some. Overall, while there are some inconsistencies in flavor and service, the restaurant is appreciated for its efforts to provide a genuine Desi Dhaba experience and connect with its patrons.
Totally Enjoyable. Excellent authentic Indian food. Good service. Fair price for DC. Lots of choices out there for Indian food in DC this is in the top tier for authentic.
Pleasantly shocked and amazed. Food was fantastic, in portion sizes were good. It's a little different than the Indian food I'm familiar with, but just as good, maybe even better. The only thing I'm not fond of is a $4 tiny bottle of Diet Coke. And I'm especially not fond of a tiny diet coke served in a glass bottle. The service was very fast and the staff were ultra helpful. The dining area is outdoor inside a plastic enclosed porch. But despite it being 35° outside, the space was very well heated so it was comfortable. If I lived in this area I would be eating here frequently.
OMG this was a great sit-down place. Curry goat? How many places have that!? It was excellent. Get the mango mojito for sure. It's awesome.
Somehow I always forget to post a review, but this is my go to place in DC when I want to impress my out of town friends with flavor and ambiance. I love the string lights outside, the mango lassi is the best in the area, and the samosas are a meal inthemselves that I keep going back for at least on a weekly basis.
