The fries were a bit burnt as if the oil hadn't been changed but were made from real fresh cut potatoes. The burgers themselves were tasty, nice and filling. If you enjoy a giant burger you may want to get two -my teenage brother wanted another- but we were satisfied with just one. The shakes we tried (oreo, toasted marshmallow and malt) were all tasty.

I was so wr... read more My hesitation about eating here was that the portions would be insanely huge, the food would be greasy, and I'd leave bemoaning what an awful place. I was so wrong! The portions were PERFECT!!!! There wasn't a single bad food item. The onion petals, fries, burger, so darn good. Loved sitting outside to eat. You get that DC feel. Check out it.

I ordered a smash burger, which was okay but not particularly filling, especially since I usually eat small portions. It didn't have the heft of a typical double smash burger, which left me wanting more. The special sauce was quite tasty, though. As for the fries, as noted in other reviews, they lacked crispiness. We ordered the rosemary herb fries, but the rosemary was piled on like a dry rub, which overwhelmed the flavor rather than enhancing it. We ended up having to scrape it off (and it was quite a challenge getting it out of our teeth!). The atmosphere was charming but a bit echoey and awkward, especially since we were seated near a loud group of ten teenagers. The seating area is quite dim, so it might be a good spot to visit on a gloomy day. Overall, while the food wasn’t terrible, I don't think we'll be returning. On a positive note, the staff was exceptionally friendly, answered all our questions, and made the experience more enjoyable!
