I intended to take a picture but once they arrived on the table in front of me, they quickly disappeared. Each person in our party tried something different and everyone was equally satiated and impressed. Service was perfection. And, there were special touches and attention given to us throughout the meal. The restaurant has a fish market in front. Beautiful fish and seafood are available to buy fresh. The bar and bar seating is just past the market so the smell of fish is still mildly present. But, once you enter the dining room in the rear, the fishy smell is left behind and the atmosphere is pretty, and calm and inviting. An open kitchen allows diners to see meal preparation in action and the orderliness and cleanliness of the kitchen. It is a casual restaurant with fine dining food and service. A great spot for date night, or for families and children. There were several small children in the dining room and all were well-behaved and some familiar with the menu. It was a wonderful dinner experience and lives up to the Black Restaurant Group stellar reputation. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our server was excellent, knew the menu well, and made great suggestions. The wine manager was excellent, knowledgeable, and made great suggestions. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere, decor, and is very clean. Highly recommended. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The tuna... read more I think this is a but over rated. It's good, but not ever blown away. The fish tacos were overly crunchy, had bits that were like large grains of sand. The tuna steak was very meaty, but needed a bit more seasoning. Fish sandwich very good, breaded cod,the batter does fall off, so get a good grip. Lunch items are served with thin fried potatoes, a like thicker than potatochips., doused in malt vinegar and salt They are really yummy! The corn bread basket to start is good too. Good local beerselection. Cocktails are pretty straight forward and solid. Brunch on Sunday only. Lunch daily.

I have catered shrimp platters, Oysters (Fresh and Rockefeller) for gatherings at my home and they are beautifully prepared and garnished . ..the fresh, shucked Oysters are securely packed on ice so you can justbring home and serve. They also have great holiday catering menus and desserts!
