AGORA - Washington, D.C.
AGORA
Description
Agora restaurant offers a mix of Turkish, Greek, and Mediterranean cuisine with small plates perfect for sharing. While some diners found the portions to be very small for the price, others raved about the delicious food and great service. The outdoor seating is lovely, but noise from the neighborhood can be disruptive. The service can be hit or miss, with some guests feeling neglected while others had attentive servers. Overall, Agora is a charming spot for a meal, especially for brunch on weekends.

The mezze selection at this restaurant is excellent. I highly recommend trying the taramosalata, kavurmali, and falafel. It's a great place to dine with a group.
The food was delicious, but the service was incredibly slow. We had to leave without ordering more because we were running out of time for our upcoming flight, despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty.
Andrew was a superb waiter on Sun 5/21. He was very attentive to my food allergies, and despite a very busy dining room, he took time to explain to me which dishes were safe and which were changed to accommodate. Thank you!
Took my wife here on our first engagement anniversary. The server was super courteous and walked her through the menu to assist with what to order. We had multiple items, and besides the drinks, each food was flavorful. The restaurant aesthetics were aperfect blend of Mediterranean and Western colors.
