Centeno's - Washington DC
Centeno's
Description
Centeno's offers bold Latin American fare—parrillada mixta, cheese pupusas, shrimp fajitas, tacos and gorditas with La Anita green habanero—that keeps diners returning, including golfers from nearby Rock Creek. Positive flavors and repeat visits contrast with recurring complaints about inconsistent food quality, a reported food-safety incident, inattentive or non‑English‑speaking servers, loud TVs, cleanliness lapses, order errors and unexpected mobile-payment surcharges. Expect vibrant, casual plates but variable service and value.

The prices are way too expensive and the food is very average.. I don’t think it is worth the prices. However me and my husband have eaten here twice and the quality of the food is poor.. I don’t recommend
Totally recommended latinamerican food. The servers don 't speak English though. I had to help my friends with the orders. I liked so much the taste that I returned the next day for the same dish... The parrillada mixta , or as it 's commonly called cielo, mar y tierra . Practically beef, chicken and shrimp fajitas that are extremely well seasoned. The individual tacos and gorditas are really good too and they have La Anita green habanero sauce which is a plus. I want to return.
