Rarely do I get the chance to try out restaurants the level of Ruby Jack's around 3k per person more or less). Thanks to my brother, we had our New Year's eve dinner here when we were checked in Nobu. As mentioned earlier and as expected, items at Ruby Jack's are expensive. Our family ordered their Tomahawk Steak with mashed potatoes, onion rings and spinach as the sides. I can't compare their steak to other restaurants as I rarely do eat steak. Anyways, definitely their steak is of quality and cooked perfectly and is still juicy when sliced and still tender. Recommended for those who wants to have a private dining experience in the City of Dreams Compound.

Rarely travel to this part of the metro because of the traffic but I may change my mind. It's a modern fine dining steak house but with a lot of casually dressed guests. The service was fine although there was a mix up with the birthday cake. I loved all the food that we ordered. We started with Fried Jalapeño Tartare Oysters. Nice spicy kick to a fresh tasting oyster. Sizzling Scallops was delectable. John Dee Platinum Black Wagyu Marble 8-9 was cooked properly. Eating the steak with the garlic and the pepper was awesome. Lobster Mac Cheese was also good. Place is a bit pricey but I guess that's what you need to pay for good food.

Meeting classic with contemporary steakhouse dining, Ruby Jack's Manila captivates through its supreme fine dining restaurant. Coming from Tokyo Japan, Manila has been chosen as the first store outside Japan, conceived by the team behind Two Rooms Grill Bar in Japan Matthew Crabbe, Nathan Smith and Edward Baffoe. As the first store in Manila, Ruby Jack's Manila promises to be as close to its original branch in Tokyo. The interiors, suppliers of meat, way of cooking and process, are identical to the one in Japan. If not the same, as close as it should get. The main franchisor in Tokyo strictly required Manila branch to use the same aquarium as the one they have in Tokyo. From what I heard, the advanced aquarium's climate could be controlled, keeping the live seafood fresh inside the tank. I forgot to tell you that the aquarium costs more than a million pesos. Wild!! For the elite, luxurious and steak enthusiasts, the price range of Ruby Jack's could be quite intimidating for a regular spender. The Food: Sizzling Scallops (Php 800 Three huge pieces of Sizzling Scallops with black garlic butter and lemon is another option for your appetizer. Even though you can actually skip this one and proceed to your steak, I'd say it's still worth the shot if you're willing to add an extra P800 for a small plate. Lobster Mac Cheese (Php 700 Competing with the Foie Gras Mac N' Cheese I love from Le Petit Souffle is this Lobster Mac Cheese from Ruby Jack's. This you cannot skip! Served hot on a skillet, every bite of this macaroni, lobster chunks and gooey melted cheese will drive you crazy in love leading you to finish what's left. Tomahawk Steak The best Tomahawk Steak! Stand alone for its jam packed flavors, I plunged into countless of strips that filled my hungry steak appetite. I cannot stop. I promise! Thankfully we were there for lunch, the best time to indulge, where we had time to burn down the calories through walking. Haha! T Bone (Php 4500/800grams Fancy another kind of steak? Bet on John Dee's Super Gold 160 day grain fed black angus T Bone Steak, which has a thicker appearance yet still perfectly tender and juicy. I suggest you to order their Mashed Potatoes with Garlic Chips (Php 250 , which is good for 2 persons already. For more details, visit my food blog! : Pray, Eat and Love. Cheers, The Food Scout

For sure the best steakhouse in the Philippines.. from the beginning to end, everything was exceptional, the service was professional and friendly.. the food.. their Caesar salad was from far the best salad I ever had in my life, the steak.. a Japanese wagyu A3 was absolutely delicious.. the dessert I had a baked to order cheesecake with earl grey ice cream that I almost had to order another one.. it was too good to be true. Not a cheap restaurant, but its definitely worth every penny you spend there. Great experience
