The service was efficient and to the point. The atmosphere was cozy, making it a beautifully trendy restaurant. I started with the japchae as an appetizer, and the flavor and texture were fantastic! My family ordered the chicken skewers, and although they said it was good, they can be quite particular, so take that with a grain of salt. For my main course, I had the tofu and avocado bibimbap. Great place for Korean food (especially bibimbap bowls). Prices are good and because we were waiting a little more the owner just gave us a free round of beer. Miso soup is also very tasty. Awesome!!
A cozy, relaxing place that you can enjoy the food after walking in the rain. The atmosphere just matches Georgetown.
Very delicious Korean cuisine. Gubboki. Very tender juicy beef slices over noodles with veggies and a side of white rice. Will return!
The smells were amazing, and the people were friendly and helpful. I arrived a little before 6 and there was one table still available and no line. By the time my companion arrived 20 minutes later (I know, right? , there were no tables, hardly any space at the bar, and a considerable line. They got us seated at a table all the same. I had the seafood soup, which was nice but not as transcendent as some of the smells. The broth was a little subtle for me, even though I added a lot of kimchi into it. I wouldn't downgrade a place due to my poor ordering and different expectations.
Fantastic Korean cuisine! Definitely try dishes that come with fried eggs and BBQ. They also serve cold kimchi, which is absolutely delicious. The restaurant is small, so it can feel a bit crowded at times. While the prices are not the best, especially for the area, you do get a generous portion of food. It's a solid choice for a casual yet somewhat upscale dinner with friends and family.
