Feedback
The short ribs and chicken wings were delicious. The short ribs were very tender and the grits soaked up the sauce well. The chicken wings had just the right amount of spice and crunch. The salads were very large and easily could have been shared between all diners. Desserts were decadent and creative. Service was attentive but the server was a little forgetful. I wouldn't hesitate to return to try more dishes.
Truno was a wonderful discovery. Upon finding the restaurant online, I was pleasantly surprised to find it located inside a hotel. As soon as I entered the Canopy hotel, I was greeted by a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made me eager to return with my girlfriends, either for drinks by the fireplace or at the spacious bar. Despite being new, the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Our server, Carlton, gave us great recommendations and I can't wait to see him again on my next visit. The cocktail I ordered was exceptional and the wings and short ribs were delicious. My friend and I agreed that Truno has all the makings of a top-notch restaurant, but we hope they keep their chef forever! I am excited for the upcoming brunch menu rollout.
