What Gloria Smith doesn't like about The Tombs:
It is the perfect old time dive bar/restaurant. The weight staff is great, the food is good. The food is just normal food that you don’t have to work too hard figure out what’s in it. Lots of college students. Lots of parents and grandparents. It really is a place where everyone is welcome, if you can’t have fun at the tombs, you just don’t know how to have fun View all feedback.
I can only talk to the wings, burgers, and cold draft beer. All are great. The walk to the pub up historic N Street is half the fun.
Bob the bartender was tremendous and needs a raise. I'm from Boston and me and my associate had a great discussion with him about Ted Williams. Bob's an absolute gem. We ate in the downstairs pub and that was fantastic as well. A great spot!
Walking down the steps in Georgetown I was sure I had made a great choice! Amazing food, ambiance, and service! The entire wait staff was great but Dylan was amazing! No matter how full it was he was all eyes on our table ready for concerns, questions, and refills!!!
Get the Nachos! Best I’ve had and the downstairs atmosphere is perfect for a hot day or a cold night. Also great staff, caught them on a slow afternoon.
Great place with a robust menu. Service was great as well.
