Hosted a social event at Tag Rooftop Bar for my colleagues. The staff was amazing and totally accommodating. Special shout out to Samantha she was very helpful. The drinks were great. The food was delivered timely and was delicious. We plan to be back again before the summer ends! View all feedback.
What foodiesforlife doesn't like about The Rooftop At The Ven:
We had a reservation at 445 . When we got to the rooftop no one on staff asked us about our reservation or acknowledged us . We waited for a couple . Half the area had unbrellas and the other did not . Because of the heat we wouldn’t stay View all feedback.
Really nice poolside location. They make great fresh cocktails, selection was to be noted, and the made equally good mocktails. Personally a treat for me.
Love it here . Love Brandon our bartender was Amazing !!!! Highly recommended will be back cant wait !!!
I planned a birthday celebration but unfortunately food or drink menus available so we left after our cup of wine and a few photos. My 1st time their, the staff was not very helpful or friendly. The atmosphere, rooftop view and live music made it okay.
This bar on the top of the hotel with a pool has a nice view of the city. Not that DC has much of a skyline. The pool is nice to relax after a day of exploring the museums. We went during the day for a couple drinks during Pride. We also came back in the evening before dinner for pre-drinks. It wasn't crowded. A couple people in the pool. The bar as a selection of food and cocktails. The bar service was friendly. Drinks are about what I expect from a hotel roof bar.
The bartender said it was a 'soft opening ' for the season. The drinks were very limited. No regular Red Bull (but lots of flavors of Red Bull), no Coke- only Pepsi, and not diet, and many other limitations. He gave us a free drink because he started to make the Jack and diet Pepsi but couldn 't finish when he realized no diet Pepsi. The service was very good, and presumably they will have more options when they 'really ' open. The rooftop area was pretty basic, as I expected from the reviews, but the views of the city were nice. You could hear a little of the street music from Dupoint occasionally. This is not a destination, but was a great hour stopover between dinner and our Improv comedy show.
