I was thrilled to try the line based on the recommendation of a friend. Unfortunately, the tariff did not live for its billing. the fried green tomatoes tasted like tempura without filling, the garden salad was raised in the dressing and not especially well. the escape was the lacking. there was a sweet little beetle in my salad, which was very alive. Fantastic service and a relaxed atmosphere. They’re dog-friendly! The food and drinks are impressive. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for a laid-back place to enjoy dinner or drinks. We’ll definitely be returning!
The staff here are wonderful, and the food is amazing!
I was looking forward to trying The Line after a friend's recommendation, but unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. The fried green tomatoes tasted like tempura without any filling, and the garden salad was overly drenched in dressing and not particularly enjoyable. The entree was quite disappointing as well. To top it off, I found a lively little beetle in my salad. Normally, I wouldn't mind such a thing if the food were good, after all, veggies and beetles can coexist. However, the dishes fell short. The fresh strawberries were just that—strawberries—but surprisingly, they were my favorite part of the meal. On a positive note, the Manhattan was quite tasty, and the service was decent. Overall, I think they really need to work on improving their menu.
Food was terrible. Ambiance is sterile and almost creepy. Service was great!!
Went to The Line Hotel for afternoon Tea on a Saturday. The atmosphere was wonderful, beautiful building, and the tea and treats were stellar. We had creative dishes and exotic tea, and I appreciated that we got to pick which tea cup to use. The manager at the front knew my name and greeted when I checked in and said goodbye when I left. The only thing I'd improve upon is the speed of service- it was a bit slow, but our waiter was attentive. I realized that they also had a wedding going on (in a different space) the same time we were there, which contributed to the slow-down. I will definitely go again.
