I ordered chicken tikka masala and lentil soup to go, and had a wonderful party in my tummy! I can't wait to try some of the other dishes, maybe dine-in sometime. View all feedback.
What Nikhil G S doesn't like about Naanwise Indian Cuisine:
Visiting DC from NY, on a Sat eve 8.45 PM, to our surprise, we were the ONLY customers in this restaurant. On top we had an extremely rude Nepali server who basically made us feel she was doing us a huge favor serving food. I am always thankful and polite to servers but her attitude was nasty. When presented with the bill, I challenged that I don’t want 20% gratuity added by default coz I didn’t even have bare min de... View all feedback.

I’ve been on the hunt for a good Indian restaurant in DC and I found one!It was so, so GOOD!I will be back! Soon!
We came here last year (twice in one weekend) and then when we were coming to town again we decided we HAD to go back. Everything we ate here was absolutely delicious and we’ve decided it’s a new yearly tradition (we would come more often if we were here more often)
The service and ambiance were both great. Thankfully, we did not have to order using a QR code because my battery was drained. I was eager to try this restaurant but could never do so due to the 2:15pm closing time and long distance from the zoo. We ordered several vegetarian dishes and the bread basket. The flavors were good but the spice level was a little too high on the paneer burji. I will probably not order that dish again. Mushroom Korma was amazing and veggie coconut curry was OK. It probably would have been better if it were less spicy. Thankfully, our server provided us with plenty of cold water and rice to accompany the spicy dishes. The naan was tasty with the garlic naan being the best. It's a bit on the expensive side but I will come back to try more dishes and naans in the future.
Some of the best Indian food I’ve found in DC. I particularly love the Shahi Paneer. The naan is also delicious. I order from here almost every time I order Indian food.
