I ordered chicken tikka masala and lentil soup to take out, and it was a delightful feast! I’m excited to sample more dishes in the future, perhaps dining in next time.
Visiting DC from NY, on a Sat eve 8.45 PM, to our surprise, we were the ONLY customers in this restaurant. On top we had an extremely rude Nepali server who basically made us feel she was doing us a huge favor serving food. I am always thankful and polite to servers but her attitude was nasty. When presented with the bill, I challenged that I don’t want 20% gratuity added by default coz I didn’t even have bare min decent experience here. She came and said she’d call cops if I didn’t give gratuity. I know my rights as consumer well, so that didn’t fly far.
I’ve been searching for a great Indian restaurant in DC, and I finally found one! It was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to return—hopefully soon!
The chicken biryani and samosas are so good. I have ordered quite a few times now and it’s become my new go to spot. I have been looking for good biryani in DC forever! I also love chicken tikka masala, but I’m afraid to try theirs because the reviews I saw aren’t that great. I’m only able to order on Uber eats and it’s quite expensive so I’m afraid to waste my money.
