Mother Rucker's Subs - Washington

First time paragliding mother ruckers and I ordered the (2) marion barry cold cut under (number 23) for the woman and me and they were excellent. in any case, he will move forward again patronize. great place to take if they want a change from eating greasy huh, burger and pizza. visited on 01/07/2022

I’ve had Mother Ruckers before and it was very good; however, customer service is lacking at this establishment. Today is the second time I’ve placed a DoorDash order and it not be confirmed. I place my order well before the advertised closing time. When I try to call no one answers the phone. I called three times and did not receive an answer. You should consider removing your business from the online delivery services if you don’t plan to honor the orders.

Due to my wife and my debate on which sandwich shop in DC is the best, I’ll say this is one of the best sub shops in that city (My vote’s still with Mangialardo’s on the Hill). Regardless, Mother Rucker’s makes a mean sub. You can create it as you like but I recommend the straight up “motherload.” It’s huge and amazing!There are a few seats inside but most people get there’s to go. If the owner is there, say hi. Very disappointed with this place since they opened. Quality is good, but good luck getting them to confirm an order or pick up their phone. Half the time the shop is closed when it should be open.I will never understand companies that make it hard to give them money.

The wife loves the Pastrami with everything they suggest. My choice is always the 18 with everything the Turkey. They usually have the ability to melt the cheese which on makes the flavor more delicious. Compared to the lunch time only Rhode Island Avenue shop the heat makes all the difference. Better than Subway, Jimmy John's and all the rest. Get the sandwich cut into fourth so you can savor the taste and make the sandwich last for two days.
